Genesis 11 from memory
“Go to” I think is the way the divine “WE” springs into action.
Nimrod has united all the people of the world to build the greatest project ever to that moment. A tower that would reach to heaven.
An age later Pharoah would build a pyramid
JFK would go to the moon “not because it is easy, because it is hard” JFK
But, to unite “all the people of the world?” That would be the ISS. as near to heaven as near earth orbit.
Accomplished with the language of science. Mathematics.
I guess you know the rest of the story.
The Sumerians tell, in Cuneiform , that for daring to approach stars
Nimrod is thrown into heaven where he is seen in the constellation we call Orion

Time dilation is a phenomenon that falls straight from the math of general relativity. As observed from the Hubble telescope, The light from the earliest stars has reached us after trillions of years .
Time dilation tells us, in einstein’s equations, that a clock thrown from that star at nearly the speed of light experiences, relative to the earth, far fewer ticks.
As that speed approaches c, the speed of light, those ticks are fewer and fewer until finally, if the clock can be thrown at the speed of light it does not tick at all on its journey through the light years.

The implication is that if WE can travel at c, WE can be anywhere light can reach. WE would be very near the divine.

“In et saecula saeculorum” is the line of the doxology just prior to “amen.”
Latin is certainly not as unambiguous as math, but if the last decade has taught us anything, here in wonderland, it’s the red queen who names the gulfs
