Our situation, the status of the resistance is fairly dire. For more than a plurality of cultists, this is a death cult. They have been taught, generations from birth, that Armageddon and the end of the world are desirable outcomes for their immortal souls, and ours, predicted, prophesied, predestined.
The goal of a conservative is to slow change, to establish stability. I have that tendency. I'm old and not real healthy and just want to be warm and comfortable for the days remaining.
The goal of a liberal is to change. Not everything everywhere all at once, but to imagine better ideas and maybe try it out small scale before going into full production. Liberals are, proudly, the capital E Establishment.
