Missy #1 was a grey tabby cat I adopted from these very nice people living on Ashbury street in San Francisco in 1981. They were moving and could not take her with them. They ran an ad in the Chronicle for a "Free cat to a good home".

I went to see Missy (#1; #2 is now alive and living with me, a beautiful black cat). I adopted her that day and she came with a bag of food.

She grew up to be a very large cat and she loved asparagus of all things, esp. the stalks. I'd feed them to her after dinner as a treat. She lived to be almost 18 years old.

You never know what our four-legged friends may like.

& recommend.
