I couldn't find Dunc the golden retriever.

I called for him then he looks out from behind the shed with that I’m not doing anything look.
And i called him again and he does not come to me I’m like huh, so i walk up and there is Dunc eating the carrots i put out for the rabbits.
I’d just like to mention this furry greedy guts will not eat a carrot any other time.

my puppers used to pull that stunt; total disinterest in a treat until you offer it to another packmate

They live out in the country and do a little farming. Anyway, I get to her house and there’s Tiger, all of Tiger…lots and lots of Tiger… I mean he was HUGE!!! And I’m like friend, WTH? And she starts with the “It’s not my fault… You don’t understand… I’m barely feeding him…” Well, while we were talking Tiger had waddled off and the next thing I know he’s back…with an ear of Silver Queen corn in his mouth he’d picked himself from their corn field. Well, he layed down in the front yard, shucked it, and ate every last kernel. My friend looked at me and said, “I told you it wasn’t my fault. “

He demands a carrot at 8:00 every night. Of course, he starts whining about getting his carrot at 7:00. They help keep his teeth clean.

He will sit patiently when I'm cutting the stalks off waiting for a treat. I trained (er got him to semi act like an adult) him with frozen Broccoli once I found out. He pouts when I make Broccoli soup

12. Missy #1

Missy #1 was a grey tabby cat I adopted from these very nice people living on Ashbury street in San Francisco in 1981. They were moving and could not take her with them. They ran an ad in the Chronicle for a "Free cat to a good home".

I went to see Missy (#1; #2 is now alive and living with me, a beautiful black cat). I adopted her that day and she came with a bag of food.

She grew up to be a very large cat and she loved asparagus of all things, esp. the stalks. I'd feed them to her after dinner as a treat. She lived to be almost 18 years old.

You never know what our four-legged friends may like.

& recommend.
