I did a comparison of the price if I'd gathered ingredients to cook a meal for me and hubs... and decided that the grocery store's $39.99 price tag for a Thanksgiving Dinner for Two actually came out cheaper - and meant I didn't have to try to cook all the stuff! I'll probably still do a sweet potato casserole to add to the dinner... but I'm kind of glad it worked out this way.

Grandson has a (very) serious girlfriend and is spending Thanksgiving with her and her parents for the first time this year. I expect a marriage is coming up next year some time. So this will be an interesting experience for him! (LOL) He was a bit concerned about leaving us by ourselves, but I pushed him to go. Told him it was one of the "rites of adulthood" he just had to get thru! (LOL)
