Are you required to clear your yard of leaves where you live? [View all]

Where I am, there aren't any such requirements. We just clear our walkways and leave the rest to shelter pollinators. But there are plenty of people in my town very determined to clear their yards, so the leaf blowers are going full force, endlessly, today, the last really nice day before cold weather sets in.

I understand that there are people who can't physically rake, don't have time/won't pay somebody, but I'm one of those who really hates the noise and air pollution of leaf blowers.

I complained about this on a Facebook post, and one person said leaving the leaves was against her city's code. So I wonder, is this true many places?
