A computer problem that started a couple weeks ago. When I turn it on I can't highlight the password [View all]

window to type it in. Then if I restart it everything works, I type in my password, and it fires up and works
perfectly. If I put it in sleep mode it works fine but I have read it is not good to use sleep mode for long periods.
I took it to Best Buy, they want $175 up front to look at it plus parts. I didn't pay a whole lot
for the computer to put that much into fixing it when it still works. Should I buy a new one and go through all the
hassle of setting up or just keep using it the way it is? I get the feeling they will take my $175 then just click on something
in the settings and it will work.
