In real life I've got over a hundred Star Trek novelizations on my book shelves and a few boxes of Star Trek memorabilia in storage.

I know people who wrote some of the earliest slash, though they'd never confess it today. In the Eternal September of the internet I was fascinated to see multiple people claiming authorship of slash that I'd seen being written.

Nevertheless I'm disappointed with a lot of the newer Paramount product. I want interesting stories, not product. Creating interesting stories shouldn't be too difficult when you've got an entire galaxy as your playground.
