12. Went to the dealer last month for an oil change. I go there every few months because I get a more thorough check-up

Anyways, I have K & N permanent air filter and cabin filters -- about a year old. So the "technician" reports that I need a new cabin air filter. Then the sweetheart behind the counter says that Carl also recommends a replacement ..... and servicing ...... and a couple of other things.

My response, Carl also recommended that I replace a K & N permanent cabin filter. I can't say that Carl inspires confidence in his ability to recognize car problems.
