8. I've attended many Rush concerts over the years. We developed strategies!

Friends and I would always opt for seats far away and upstairs. We would watch the concerts comfortably seated using binoculars.

With binocs, Geddy and Alex were right in front of us. See everything up close.

It seems the more one would pay for seats, the greater the probability of standing the whole show. Not for me, even when I was 20.

We would get the set list in advance and figure out which songs could be potential beer runs and bathroom breaks. (If one goes during the music, instead of at intermissions, there are no lines.)

I've seen them many times. My favorite band of all time has a few expendable songs.

I figured out that if I left during the last two/three songs, I could get to the parking lot and out immediately. Those last two songs could add an hour or more to my exit. I typically left in the middle of YYZ, which was always played during the encores.

I look forward to seeing the videos for the upcoming tour. To see it live would entail a plane ride.
