9. Great to hear you slept well. I had some amazing news yesterday. My hub is still in the rehab hospital.

He’s had COPD for many years and recently became septic from pneumonia. A speech/language pathologist ordered a fluoroscopy swallow study. Well, turns out he aspirates some liquids when he swallows! A simple procedure of tucking his chin to his chest when swallowing liquids prevents the aspiration. 20 years of seeing all kinds of specialist MDs never thought of this? I’m flabbergasted. Happy to know we can prevent future aspiration pneumonia, but so angry all the docs never thought to check?
