Good morning my DU family,

There's a point in moments of stress that once relieved, a form of exhaustion finds you right after. Last night was one of those for me, Thank you.
Knowing my Trip to see Rory is now fully planned and in place, I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks and now feel embarrassed that my morning greeting is late.
Please have a day filled with gifts of meaningful words, deeply felt feelings, and deeds done of real importance and please let them be food for your and other souls today.
Thank you for providing those things for me.
Love, John

Walleye, there's so much stress that sometimes the tunnel vision we have in a particularly sensitive or urgent moment, allows for it once it's dealt with or resolved.

He’s had COPD for many years and recently became septic from pneumonia. A speech/language pathologist ordered a fluoroscopy swallow study. Well, turns out he aspirates some liquids when he swallows! A simple procedure of tucking his chin to his chest when swallowing liquids prevents the aspiration. 20 years of seeing all kinds of specialist MDs never thought of this? I’m flabbergasted. Happy to know we can prevent future aspiration pneumonia, but so angry all the docs never thought to check?

Wishing you health and happiness

A friend of mine has been belching incessantly for more than a year and a half and they can't fix it or even find the certain cause.
I completely understand the frustration and anger at DRs
