(24,892 posts)36. Marrying my first husband because all my friends from college were getting married
I went to school to get a BA and my friends went to a MRS degree. I knew on the honeymoon I made a mistake. But luckily I escaped by not getting pregnant ( which my Mother constantly reminded me to take birth control pills). But fate puts you in different places and A year later I met the guy who saw me across the dance floor and he was patient with me and we dated for 3 years and the next month Ill be married for 36 to my best friend and husband.

I was going to post something similar, same regrets about being mean to others. Been bullied as well as a kid.

Any regrets I have are offset by the fact of a somewhat random event in the life I led.

Not really. I'm one with the belief that the life you do end up living is the one you were meant to live.

So many regrets. I wish I had spent more time with my Mom and I am sorry for every time I made her sad as a kid.
