So everyone on DU, [View all]

I'm home for the next week or so because my truck is in for her B service and a deep cleaning at the Phoenix Peterbilt facility, so, I decided to go out and check out a classic vehicle to buy and this is what I settled on... A 1963 Pontiac Tempest with the 389 CI engine, 4 speed trans, Posi rear end, it's a beautiful car, rides like a dream, lousy MPG, but I don't plan to make it my main go to car, so MPG isn't a real concern for me.

When I drive it around the city, I get looks all time, plus...it's a chick magnet.
I had a cop pull me over just to look at the car, we had a great conversation about classic cars, he has a 1968 Ford Fairlane Cobra that he had restored a few years ago, beautiful car.

Who here on DU has a classic car and what do you think of it?
Peace out
Danny.
