when people are desperate, they do desperate things.

It's hard for younger people to relate to the "let's be peaceful" boomers, because many are in worse straits financially than their parents at this point. It will only accelerate as options become slimmer. How will people react when Trump cheats again, or simply cancels elections? If there is no legal way to affect change, there are those who will find a way. They are obviously much more likely to be young & feel like they have nothing to lose.
