In the days of Nixon, we still have a functional judicial system. Although Ford should never have been allowed to pardon Nixon. It set a bad precedent that the repugs have been pushing ever since. So today, trump purposely broke it, first chance he got, as the only restraint on his unimagined power grab. SCOTUS wasn't overtly political until the days of bush, but trump with McConnell's help, threw away all rules, constitutional or traditional. IMO, "turtle" ought to be held as accountable for treason as trump should be.
