Doctor: Trump Dictated Letter Attesting To His 'Extraordinary' Health
MAY 2, 2018 - 2:41 AM ET
By Scott Neuman
In December 2015, Donald Trump's personal physician released a letter describing his patient's health in language that sounded more like it was written by the patient himself than the doctor and it turns out that might be exactly what happened.
"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," Dr. Harold Bornstein, a gastroenterologist from Lenox Hospital in New York, wrote at the time.
The letter said that a recent medical exam showed "only positive results" for the then-candidate and that "his physical strength and stamina are extraordinary."

As NPR's Jessica Taylor reported at the time: "The full letter is written in true Trumpian fashion, full of hyperbole and boasting of greatness. Bornstein calls Trump's blood pressure 'astonishingly excellent.' "

By Dan Merica, CNN

Washington
CNN Dr. Ronny Jackson, the presidential physician, gushed about President Donald Trumps health during a briefing before the White House press corps on Tuesday, touting the Presidents good genes, how he did exceedingly well on his cognitive test and his excellent cardiac health.
Jackson said Trump urged the doctor to answer every question the media had before he stepped up to the podium, and he did so with gusto during an almost hour-long briefing with the media, in a remarkable show of transparency.
Here is some of the praise Jackson lavished on Trump during Tuesdays briefing:
Incredible genes
The President doesnt have a daily physical fitness routine, the doctor said. And Trumps penchant for Diet Coke, McDonalds, red meat and vanilla ice cream has been widely reported.
But while Jackson acknowledged he advised Trump who is 6 foot, 3 inches and weighs 239 pounds to eat better and exercise more, he said its genetics that have kept Trump in sterling health.

Updated: Q&A on Trumps COVID-19 Diagnosis
By Jessica McDonald and Lori Robertson
Posted on October 2, 2020 | Updated on October 7, 2020
On Oct. 2, President Donald Trump revealed that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19. Here we answer common questions about the risks of the disease, treatments available and the shortcomings of testing.
What do we know about Trumps risk of developing serious COVID-19?
Without knowing all of Trumps medical history, it is difficult to know how dangerous his SARS-CoV-2 infection might be. On the morning of Oct. 2, news outlets reported and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows confirmed that the president was experiencing only mild symptoms.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany reiterated the symptoms were mild in the afternoon, though Trump was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and would be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days, McEnany said.

Mild, yup, so mild he almost died, fortunately (for him) he had the very best healthcare available at the time

Being a rumour and being of that issue, the rumour is distracting, a nuisance.
