Supposedly the foundation of this is the Steele Dossier. The Steele Dossier was paid for by the ultra right wing Washington Free Beacon. Conveniently being ignored is much of the contents of the Steele Dossier have proven to be True. Some of the contents have remained unproven, but has anything been definitively proven false? The Russian source of the Dossier was acquitted of lying to the FBI. Add in the massive amount of information in the Mueller Report which confirmed the Russian interference in the election, and you have a totally fabricated fake charge by Gabbard.
