Well Cassidy was the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to pass committee.

He owns any decision that RFK Jr does.

What is the point of a confirmation hearing anyway?

When ~~someone~~ Republican appointees will say anything to get confirmed but do differently after confirmed.
