...wanting US to support the people of Congo, Vietnam, Brazil, etc. instead of the corporations cough Brown Brothers Harriman, United Fruit Co, Standard Oil and colonial powers cough Belgium, France, etc. exploiting them.

He planned to use peace instead of threats of violence, preventing nuclear war over the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis and a number of other times we are just starting to learn about. He believed in ta policies that were fair to all, especially young people just starting out. He also got Americans to the moon and back safely before any other nation.

He did all that in 1,037 days in office. Imagine what he would have done if given another 5 years?

IMFO, We certainly would be living in a country today is set up with a Supreme Court majority that sides with a traitor installed by Vladimir Putin, leading a kakistocracy comprised of plutocrats, oligarchs and a horde of murderous thugs interested in helping themselves to all they can, anytime they can.
