Secret Service was ordered to stand down at Love Field. [View all]

On November 22, 1963, the Secret Service agents agents protecting JFK’s back were ordered off his car’s bumper in Dallas. It’s around the 1:15 mark:

The videotape above was retrieved from an ABC Dallas affiliate’s trash bin a number of years later.
