jackson is an incredible figure of mid 20th century politics, from civil rights through his presidential campaign and the rainbow coalition.

i was supporting gary hart in 1984, yet another primary for direction of a "parry in disarray." vp mondale got the nomination and jackson finished 3rd in the primaries. all their great moments were not enough to derail reagan's reelection.

I'm sure the azzwhole in chief will have something nice to say.
