I hate the exhortations here that we should just suck it up. “It’s only one day”, “blood is thicker than water” …

Fuck that. Anyone coming at any DUer with the “suck it up” bullshit as though we’re the ones turning these gatherings into a shitty day, will get slapped back by me. So over it.

I’m glad other DUers don’t have toxic MAGAts in their lives. Truly. Good for you. Those of us who are still struggling with this though don’t deserve the condescension.
