...is that NO MATTER what happens with Trump, whether he's still alive or not, the MAGAts aren't going to automatically rally around a Republican candidate who is NOT 100% MAGAt.

Don Jr. has been "positioning himself" as "the heir to MAGA." He could CONCEIVABLY get MAGAt votes, but I'm not convinced that Republicans who are NOT fully entrenched in the cult will warm up to his nonsense. As they say in Texas, that boy is all hat and no cattle.

The bigger problem is that the MAGAts hate whoever Trump tells them to hate. And right now, he's telling them to hate Greene.

Which means:

1). Her getting the nomination is a long shot
2). Her getting MAGAt votes is an even BIGGER long shot. NO, they WON'T vote for the Democrat. They just won't vote.

I am not a betting man. I'd say the odds of Trump still slithering among us in three years is 50-50 AT BEST, so it will be Lord of the Flies time. Vance, Miller, Rubio, Noem, and Don Jr...the worst of the worst will all be scrambling to ascend to the MAGAt throne, which will leave Greene in the dust.
