I think MTG sees the writing on the wall and is desperately trying to insulate herself for future political races. The tide is tuning. Trump's poll numbers are in the tank. She's looking for a lifeboat off the Titanic. And Donnie? He'll go down with the ship taking as many supporters as possible.

Because that's what demented cowards do.

...as you can hopefully tell from my post, I'm not defending her either, but the plot twist here is that "WE"...Democrats, and basically anyone who is not spellbound by Trump's theatrics...really DON'T have a STRONG chance of taking him down.

The BEST chance of THAT happening is right in front of our eyes...Trump, turning on those who helped him ascend to the throne, basically telling them that he doesn't need them now, he never DID need them, he never WILL need them...

...that's going to bring his reign of terror to an end faster than anyone outside of the cult could, because every time we speak out, he yells "TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME," and the red hats chuckle and high-five themselves and yell "RIGHT ON."

I don't know what kind of adjectives can be used to ACCURATELY describe Greene. Maybe "smart" isn't the first choice, but before the honeymoon was over, she DID have the ability to "click" with the MAGAts.

And what Trump IS NOT SEEING...or what he thinks he will trample down...is the power someone like Greene has to rally the disenfranchised.

Yes...whatever we may think of her, she IS looking at life after Trump. And Trump's bellowing "THERE IS NO LIFE AFTER TRUMP."

But between the Epstein scandal, and his destruction of the White House (figuratively and literally) and his cognitive / physical decline, now may not be the time to poke the hornet's nest with a stick. And being a life-long toddler and a creature of impulsiveness, he'll NEVER see things that way.

It will be very interesting to see how the discharge vote goes this coming Tuesday. It may very well give us an inkling at how deep the Trump aversion has gone. Massie has predicted that a solid number of House Republicans are ready to vote yes on the vote. Of course, saying it and doing it are two different things. However, the Epstein matter is so repellent, so ugly that I wouldn't be surprised if other Republicans do get off the Trump Train if for no other reason than to save their own political skins from a 2026 wipe out.

With MTG, there are rumors she's flirting with the idea of running for president in 2028. This is not a stupid woman. She's a wily opportunist. While I don't see a successful presidential bid in Marjorie's future, I do see a politician who wants to protect her future. If that means completely dumping the Old Man, I think she'd do it in a heartbeat.

Things are about to get very lively in DC.

...is that NO MATTER what happens with Trump, whether he's still alive or not, the MAGAts aren't going to automatically rally around a Republican candidate who is NOT 100% MAGAt.

Don Jr. has been "positioning himself" as "the heir to MAGA." He could CONCEIVABLY get MAGAt votes, but I'm not convinced that Republicans who are NOT fully entrenched in the cult will warm up to his nonsense. As they say in Texas, that boy is all hat and no cattle.

The bigger problem is that the MAGAts hate whoever Trump tells them to hate. And right now, he's telling them to hate Greene.

Which means:

1). Her getting the nomination is a long shot
2). Her getting MAGAt votes is an even BIGGER long shot. NO, they WON'T vote for the Democrat. They just won't vote.

I am not a betting man. I'd say the odds of Trump still slithering among us in three years is 50-50 AT BEST, so it will be Lord of the Flies time. Vance, Miller, Rubio, Noem, and Don Jr...the worst of the worst will all be scrambling to ascend to the MAGAt throne, which will leave Greene in the dust.

I’ve been wondering for a while if MTG is a CSA survivor herself. The woman is relentless on this as is Bang Bang Barbie and Mace (who’s similarly single minded about it, stating outright that’s because she’s been raped).

Boebert is very psychologically fucked up so who knows what’s motivating her but I wouldn’t be surprised if she has history.

After a long meeting with Bondi, Kash Patel and Trump's lawyers, Boebert reportedly said she was even more convinced of a conspiracy afoot in regard to the files.

As to whether any of these House reps were sexually abused themselves? Quite possible. Many women have had 'incidents' of sexual abuse, rape, harassment and rough play during the course of their lives. It's only recently that women have been willing to openly talk about it.

The MeToo Movement poked the hornet's nest.

Then there's the Epstein affair taking the abuse to a whole different level where children were exploited, molested and raped. It is so depraved, so utterly disgusting that even the MAGA-blind can see and condemn the cruelty, the perversion.

I think Trump's desperation, deflection and excuses say everything about his involvement with Epstein--he's guilty as hell. He knows that any exposure would doom not only his presidency but his Ponzi-scheme financial grift.

Whatever their reasons, these three women are on the right side of the issue.
