19. She is not way down. She slipped 6 points. She would win in a walk against Bianco in November.

Yes, she slipped 6 points, because she fell victim to the double standard we have for female politicians--they are not allowed to show anger. But she is not running behind both Republicans, according to a Berkeley IGS Poll released Nov. 7. Only one Republican, crazy Trumper Sheriff Chad Bianco, is above her, and only because there are only 2 serious Republican contenders running to split the Republican vote, unlike on the Democratic side.

The primary election will be held in June, where the field of candidates running for governor of California will winnow down to two, whom voters will decide between next November. Porter has plenty of time to regroup.

The Berkeley IGS Poll found that support for Bianco was largely along party lines, with 37% of Republican voters supporting him, compared to just 1% of Democrats. https://www.desertsun.com/story/news/nation/california/2025/11/13/latest-california-governor-race-poll-primary-elections/87231067007/

If it was between Porter and Bianco in November, she would wipe the floor with him. California hates Trump and anyone associated with him. That is why Prop. 50 won by a 2 to 1 margin 2 weeks ago.
