However, the mortgage fraud case (and negative publicity) is going to run throughout the next few months so I felt that your statement that Swalwell doesn't have any baggage was not entirely accurate since he is involved in an active investigation.

While we (as Democrats) recognize the games that the GOP plays with their propaganda and weaponizing the DOJ, people who are independents or the middle of the political spectrum may not recognize it.
