more SNAP beneficiaries being employed, which most of them already are---

(this is proven fact in the several states who have already tried it, notably Arkansas and Georgia---
it only resulted in people being cut off-- and at a GREAT administrative cost to those states
to certify the work requirements for everybody in the program...)

MUCH as the Republicans apparently desire to force OLDER people (age 54 to 64)
into farm work to replace all the immigrants they are deporting---
(and at least one Republican politician actually suggested that),
it's pretty damned unlikely to happen.

And GQP Speaker Mike Johnson was a goddamned LIAR,
every time he threw out that bullshit about "young men playing video games instead of working,
because they are getting SNAP"---

Johnson knew GODDAMNED WELL that people under age 55 could only get SNAP
for three months out of three years without having a job---
we ALREADY HAD work requirements for the younger folks!

The BBB's SNAP work requirements were only about FORCING OLDER PEOPLE
into the workforce!
