For the younguns, "Tweety" is Chris MATTHEWS. Was a fiend for *all* of the Sunday yak fests, sent emails. Would fume at LIMBOsevic and O'LOOFAH. Saw JoeSCABS start with Tweety then on to his own circuses, ranting at the weatherman, hating on PELOSI and HRC, emotionally and verbally abusive to Mika Mouse, then sensed something fishy and shocked when those two made it official.

Anyway, tapered off and then dropped MSNBC entirely in 2012 when he said something I don't remember about OBAMA. Then, separately, went through my cable-cutting phase, and after KRASNOV in 2016, cut out almost all of the yak shows. Now the almost only one left is CBS, Margaret BRENNAN, but not glued to it.

Now almost all YouTube and podcasts. And DU all and all through the above.

*** But here's the kicker. The only talk radio in my area was wingnut, and I started with it in the '80s, with letters, then emails, had a back and forth with the head wingnut, for the 30 years. But 2024 was too much, dropped it, wrote "REFUSED" on the emails the wingnut sent asking me not to "leave." And haven't heard it since then, only have a music station in the car. And, no, don't have my head in the sand (see the YouTubes, podcasts, DU), but a certain amount of stress has noticeably lessened.
