A cop that didnt attempt to eliminate a threat--required or not--would be a pretty sorry person...Again, Uvalde comes to mind.
And, most recently, the report that came out of the Minneapolis area, regarding the assassinations and shootings of state politicians there. And the ones at Columbine. It's not unusual for it to happen.

One would hope there’s a deterrent effect having law enforcement on-site.
Research finds no evidence that School Resource Officers reduce deaths or injuries from school shootings.

I pass two elementary schools on my way to/from work. Both have police officers on-site, and they park their cruisers prominently in the front.
Okay? Do they...do they keep you from shooting kids at school?

My grandson’s private school has a sign at the entrance saying the campus is protected by armed individuals. I suppose cops dont work private schools, so I’ve not seen any cops. Either the sign is a ruse or there are some who are concealed carrying. Either way, I like the sign.
You like not knowing who's prowling around your grandson's school with a gun? Huh.

Cops aren't required to protect anybody, so I don't see why having them at schools would be useful. WhiskeyGrinder Jul 27 #5

I was asking what the weapon was. A drone is not a weapon. But you said tasers in the other post, which I addressed. WhiskeyGrinder Jul 27 #17
