(113,719 posts)43. I would suspect it has crept up a point or two but it won't last
It has crept up because he's slowly coming to terms tbat while Putin is flattering him and being charming, he's also a snake and a liar and a murderer. King Prat has had a terrible and prolonged time coming to the realization that he's not the charmer and deal maker, Putin is. It's been even harder for him to realize he's been played for a sucker, that's still a work in progress.
In any case, the uptick won't last because his fucking stupid tariffs are starting to make themselves felt in the economy by higher inflation.
You know, just like Powell said they would.

He's twisting the truth - still lying. There was a recent poll that showed him at 90% approval amongst republicans.

The podcast was talking about the same poll reported on CNN - but they were saying that it was deceptive

The seemingly mild-manners Mike Johnson is a sneaky, evil, kiss-ass of the highest order.

Mike is playing all fucking sides of the fence right now regarding Trump, solely to his own benefit. He's fucking nuts.

A YouGov/Economist poll taken 7/11 thru 7/14 (so it would capture some of the Epstein backlash but likely not the full

90% approval where? In the Republican Congress, in IT's own mind, in Johnson's house?

"witness against your neighbor." It all depends on the GOP's definition of "neighbor".

The only thing that's high is Mike Johnson. He's stoned from huffing Trump's farts.
