7. I suspect that things will likely not prove as dire as you paint

* First, I expect that we will tax the hell out of everyone with net worth above $100M, and we will end up both ending tax loopholes and shelters and seizing assets like yachts, aircraft and mansions.
* I think the tech bros will discover that there is NO appetite to backstop companies like OpenAI or nVidia, not without stringent safeguards and more or less complete control over profits.
* My guess is that a lot of the old guard from both sides of the aisle are going to be swept away, and with it, a lot of the current graft and corruption.
* The US WILL re-evaluate a great number of contracts in the wake of Trump, will likely cancel those that are money pits (tech, defense, healthcare that amounts to corporate socialism, and so forth).
* The Supreme Court is extended to 15 judges, and term limits are put into place (via amendment if necessary) for how long they can serve and how old they can be.
* We hold a Constitutional Convention. It's WAY overdue. There are structural problems that this country has, and it's time for us to address them.

Remember that Trump only has power so long as people do not fight him, and I think people have had enough of his incompetence, his kleptomancy, his cruelty and his low moral character. The problem he faces right now is that he's losing legitimacy, and with it his ability to steal will be severely compromised.

Finally, this country has a lot of advantages - natural wealth, a diverse population, defensibility and entrepreneurial spirit. We made the mistake of thinking that we were superior because of it. I do wonder at times if it isn't time to break up into a looser confederacy - we have states and regions that have more vibrant economies than many countries. However, we will SURVIVE Trump.
