With NOT GUILTY Finding, Jury Delivers A Verdict On The Overreach By Trump's DOJ! - Glenn Kirschner [View all]
Donald Trump's U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Janine Pirro, failed to convince three grand juries to bring felony charges against a woman named Sydney Lori Reid for allegedly assaulting a law enforcement officer during immigration enforcement operations. Undeterred by the grand jury's repeated rejection of criminal charges, Pirro directed her prosecutors to charge Ms. Reid with a misdemeanor crime.
In a direct repudiation of Pirro's prosecutorial overreach, a jury - sitting as the conscience of the community, - just found Ms. Reid NOT GUILTY!
