Trump attacked Meyers personally while mentioning these so-called rumors, without ever realizing that this was news that happened a year ago. There are no new reports about Meyers getting a new contract, so it is entirely possible – and likely – that Trump was having a dementia moment where he “remembered” something but his brain interpreted it as new information.
