My 300 year old neighbor brags about receiving Social Security from our federal Government before we had a federal government. I drive him to pickle ball in our indoor center twice a week and he regales us with stories about how he dug holes and put all his SS checks in his cow pasture until banks became a thing. He also told us he knew the Republican Party would really suck to high heaven in the 20th century. Quite a guy.

Dug holes in his cow pasture. Wink-wink. The guy is brilliant and he doesn’t love stupid people.
