but knowing how devious Trump is, I DO BELIEVE he simply used clueless Musk to do all the dirty work so he could test just how much could be shaved away UNTIL his base would finally rebel.
(Then, the spineless shape-shifter can ride in like the Lone Ranger and SAVE THE DAY.)
Musk was too socially unaware to see he was being used to test the waters for Trump.
It's simply an elaborate take on, 
"I haven't heard that. I know nothing about it", that he uses time and again.
(*Sorry, I type too fast and later see what a WHOPPER of a misspelling I've committed. LOL!)
