Great story. Thank you for sharing. Black Mtn is a beautiful cool (woke) area with a blue hue around town, but step away, MAGA RED. It got hit really bad by Helena. Hope people you know are safe and recovering. Hit hard As did we all here. I am in the west side of Asheville and it wiped away so much here.

If it was not for the mountains, especially the thousand + acres out the back door, With a bit of bushwhacking to get deep in them, I would consider leaving. Ain’t gonna give it up to em, besides I am a no trails with my dog guy. Those trumpytes can’t find us or ever keep up.
