Not all area residents are pro-Trump. Joe Stanley, a retired miner who once worked in Logan County and now lives in Wayne County, said he believes big investments in infrastructure from roads to high-speed internet are needed to help the state. “Coal has had its day,” he said.
Among Democratic candidates, he said he likes Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, adding: “I would vote for anybody other than Donald Trump.”
