9. It began with the Fundamentalists. I do have a Catholic friend and Catholic Aunt who've been duped.

It is the abortion issue. Pro Life = Anti Dem in so many people's minds.

Only those who believe it is God's place to judge someone in that situation and not our own, can get past it.

I would like to see Dems and Republicans (maybe like those in the Lincoln group) who can see some sort of Bi-Partisan solution that leaves birth control, even the morning after pill available under the law and abortion in severe cases, but hopefully still early on and not as simple birth control. Educating and empowering women to make better choices can still be Democratic, but when one has been raped or the victim of incest, there has to be some compassion.
