any bullying. They may honestly be afraid of bullying. Primaries on DU are notoriously ruthless, ya know. I didn't officially pick someone and let it be known for a while after starting back posting on here after a long ordeal kept me away for a long time.

Maybe some just believe in keeping their vote private to avoid people thinking less of them for who they agree with most within the party. I mean, the primaries are about picking someone from within the party.

Why the bullying and why the hate? There should be no hate for who they pick in the primaries, but everyone likes to pack up and attack those who like the less popular (on DU) candidates. I know a lot of Warren supporters were/are absolutely hated on here. Sanders supporters are despised to the nth degree and have been since Day 1. Between the two of them and Kamala Harris, those were the main ones I liked best. Not everyone wants those kinds of hateful accusations and rhetoric thrown their way because they like the candidates that moderate and conservative Democrats hate. Moderate and Conservative Democrats on this site have always gone above and beyond to attack Liberal Democrats. Back in the day, the moderates and conservatives were the ones who hated us gays the most too. Outright told us to STFU about wanting rights. It was what most of us who are gay on here heard for the longest time. That is partially why so many left the place. The other part is that some straight mods accused us of being violent for wanting to start a silent thread on Stonewall. Other straight mods were on our side, but many of us got tombstoned for trying to protest the false accusation of violence.

So, the simple answer to your question, no bones about it is: Believe it or not, most people do not like to be bullied. Mostly, it is the bullying.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
