To call them Clinton primary VOTERS is inaccurate, then.
Would they have actually voted that way? Who knows? Exit pollers ask questions and don’t really verify.
Regardless, I stand by my hypothesis that the pain from the previous election results has a big effect on attitudes this time around.
I witnessed several anti-Ohio generalizations on DU in 2016 too, while firmly red states were given a pass in the “blame game” at the time.

Interestingly, 16 percent of McCain voters said they would have voted for Clinton, the Democrat, if she had been her party's nominee.
