always the way it was going to be, though.

We have an overwhelmingly liberal progressive Democratic electorate. We have beliefs, ideals, aspirations, goals that are only met by liberal Democrats like ourselves.

This primary presented:

1. A handful of unrepresentative self-offerings embarrassing the bottom of our ticket,
2. A pair of conservative Democrats who were soundly rejected early on,
3. One subversive, anti-Democratic true believer pushed as a spoiler by Repub-Russia and hostile media,

AND

4. Well over a dozen really good, solid, liberal, progressive Democrats: governors!, senators!, a VP!, and other good Democrats who were genuinely qualified if comparatively lightly.

And now we have one left: the VP statesman. It was right and inevitable that we LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS consolidated in support of the remaining LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE.

Not exactly a surprise. All the deep analysis in the world won't change the basic reality that we believe we, and only we, can and will govern well. For good reason. We are it. We've always been it.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
