(53,061 posts)Most of us at DU thought it was the low point of the Sanders campaign.
You should have a humble opinion of your opinion because it is so specious (superficially plausible but actually wrong). ( adding definitions so you wont have to look them up)
Clearly you use terms that you think sound good but don't really mean what you think they mean.
An "ad hominem" attack is an attack against a person rather than a position they are maintaining.
For example if I attacked you because you were a vegan, a Presbyterian, you were left handed or short in stature that would be an ad hominem attack.
When I looked into your journal and saw your posting on Joe Rogan making light of the reaction against the Sanders slovenly embrace of Rogan I was attacking the position you took.
It is literally the opposite of an ad hominem attack.
What's really not helping party unity is to continue to pursue a campaign that has no possible chance of winning.
But then Sanders (I) has not ever been a Democrat, doesn't like the Democratic Party and regularly undermines Democratic Party Unity.
He is a guest and if he wanted to advance chances for victory in the fall he would do what the other 23 candidates have done and endorsed the presumptive nominee, but he won't because it doesn't serve his personal interests and that's why I attack him, he puts his interests over that of the Party.

primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
