10. I don't know but Republicans are absolutely relentless in Florida

That's why they win so many close elections regardless of the polling. I have never seen anything like it.

For example, last week I received a letter from, "The Offices of Lindsey Graham." I am a registered Democrat and have never been anything but a registered Democrat. I've never voted for a Republican for any office. But none of that matters in the slightest in Florida. The GOP canvassers don't back off door to door regardless of who lives there. Likewise the mailers and phone callers.

I literally receive more contact from Republicans than Democrats despite my registration. As I've mentioned many times, Donna Shalala is the only Florida Democrat whose campaign found me quickly and contacts me repeatedly. Andrew Gillum and Bill Nelson didn't contact me once in 2018. I hope the Biden camp uses Shalala's contact list and operation. Otherwise we'll blow Florida again if we don't get our act together.

Obviously that Shalala list is available to others because out of nowhere in 2018 I started receiving emails from out of state Democrats like Katie Porter and Katie Hill.

BTW, I tore up the letter from Lindsey Graham without opening it. That is the third physical letter I have received from Republicans this year. The only Democratic mail I received was all from Michael Bloomberg. There was a flurry of that. I probably received more material in the mail from Bloomberg over a 3-week period than everything combined from Democrats since moving back here from Nevada in late 2008.

Nevada was the opposite, with Democrats dominating local outreach. When I lived in Henderson I'd sometimes be on the phone with a Democratic canvasser while another Democratic canvasser knocked on my door. That happened twice.

I'm hardly surprised Nevada has been overachieving while Florida underachieves. Granted, Florida is an exponentially more difficult state to master from an outreach perspective.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
