CLEVELAND, Ohio – Former Vice President Joe Biden added to his expansive list of endorsements from elected officials in Ohio on Wednesday as Ohio House Minority Leader Emilia Sykes of Akron backed the Democratic presidential hopeful.
Biden has consolidated much of the institutional support in the state in the lead-up to the March 17 primary election, including three of Ohio’s four U.S. House members and a slew of statehouse members. Joining Sykes on Wednesday were five members of her caucus as well as 10 of Cleveland’s 17 city council members


We have a real opportunity to win and break the GOP supermajority in the Ohio House with Vice President Biden at the top of our ticket, and I urge my fellow Ohioans to vote for Joe Biden on March 17th and help our state have a real, decent, and experienced partner in the White House,” Sykes said in a statement
