Interesting sidelight on the Michigan results tonight.... [View all]

Rashida Tlaib's district is in Wayne County, Michigan. So far Biden is leading in Wayne County (VERY early) by 53-44. Tlaib won her primary two years ago by only 900 votes. This year she's being challenged by an African American man.

This could be something interesting to watch throughout the night and the spring/summer (primary is in August)

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

She has no chance, she's right leaning (the 14th is BIGTIME liberal), but there are three credible.. George II Mar 2020 #4

I like AOC though. Turin_C3PO Mar 2020 #9
I like a lot of things about her. But she needs to chill out and build alliances, Blue_true Mar 2020 #10
I tend to agree with you. It will be interesting to see if she adapts. OnDoutside Mar 2020 #12

Since Wayne has Detroit, my guess is Biden's margin becomes larger with time🍈 Blue_true Mar 2020 #3
Wayne county is now 54-40, a big margin. George II Mar 2020 #7

I may donate to this candidate Gothmog Mar 2020 #16
If Tlaib won due to vote splitting, it might be worth chipping in a couple of bucks to unseat her. Tarheel_Dem Mar 2020 #17
