4. i can only guess. Ted Kennedy and John Kerry were actively campaigning for Senator Obama

I recall Hillary being up by double digits in the polls in MA around that time. All of MA's super delegates, Kennedy, Kerry, and Patrick all endorsed Senator Obama. Hillary won our primary decisively but still did get the support of our super d's at the convention. Then there was the Florida and Michigan primary fiasco and the divvied up votes.

The party has issues and I believe has lost the trust of a lot of dems.
