His smarts are in the area that resonates with most Americans - trying to keep your head above water in 2015. This is a new challenge for Americans.

When we came through the Great Depression, the economy wasn't globalized. FDR didn't have to deal with outsourcing. Glass Steagall was established by FDR as law. Hillary had better come up with something that replaces it or improves upon it.

Where does O'Malley stand on Glass Steagall?
