1. I'm not sure that the Spoken Word category makes it onto...

...the live broadcast, but they do read the list of all of the winners of those categories for awards that are not announced live on the air.

As a Grammy member/voter, I was quite pleased to vote for Bernie and Mark on the final ballot a month or so ago.

I think they have a good chance at winning, as I have seen what appears to be more political/progressive works being nominated and winning in the Spoken Word category over the last several years.

The membership of the Academy seems skewed to the left, and I can't recall seeing right-leaning entries being nominated, much less winning any awards.
