2016 Postmortem

(5,730 posts)...an infinite number of ways: swiftboating, voter suppression, fake news, idiotic investigations, destroying reputations, fake unidentified sources, Comey, hacking, voter registration suppression, Supreme Court intervention into Constitutionally state issues, oN and on forever. The problem is also there is a snowball effect...the more they win and gain power and control, the easier it is to win.
I haven't figured out the solution yet- how we turn the Titanic around. I'm encouraged by the aggressive news cycles the last couple of days; the drop in the stock market the last couple of days (being referred to as the Trump risk factor) and that wakes people up; the late night comedian focus (which really helped Obama, but they did this equivalent time thing with hillary v DT); and that he has made such a buffoon of himself lately that no one but KellyAnne Conwoman is defending him.
